Baby Beach in Poipu is located on the South Shore of Kauai. This small secluded beach is great for families with infants and toddlers. The rocky reef acts as a natural protective barrier that keeps the waters calm and crystal clear.
Located off of the more popular Poipu Beach Park, the shallow calm waters make it ideal for families. It is also not uncommon to to sea the Hawaiian Honu (sea turtle) and Hawaiian Monk Seal. These animals are protected and it is against the law to get close, touch, and/or feed them. Make sure to keep your distance.
Finding this beach is a little tricky. From Lawai Road make a left on Ho'ona Road and look for the yellow pipe that marks the beach access.
Great for snorkeling, swimming, tide pool exploring, shell collecting.
NO LIFEFUARD ON BEACH. Always use caution when entering the water.
