Anini Beach is considered to be one of the safest beaches on Kauai's North Shore.
It's unique conditions makes this beach an excellent place for snorkeling, SUP (stand up paddle boarding), surfing, and wind surfing. Anini beach is known to have strong rip currents in the channels and outside the protective reef area. It's also great for sunbathing or just laying out and reading a book.
Camping is available with proper permitting. There are lots of shady areas, picnic tables, pavilions, restrooms, and showers.
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Always use caution when entering the water.
