Tour Description: This combo-tour leads guests on a Rainforest to Reef excursion on the West-side of O’ahu. Our professional nature guide will shuttle you by van to the highlands of the Waianae Mountains. The cool forested ridge of Palehua at 2,400ft elevation is a narrated 1.2 mile round-trip nature hike along a privately-owned trail to discover several endemic species of plants and trees. Guests are rewarded with spectacular views of Oahu’s leeward coast into Nanakuli Valley and eastward toward Diamond Head, Honolulu and the Koolau mountains in the distance. Hike includes snacks and cut fruit at a scenic overlook. The 3-hour sail and snorkel is aboard a 53’ luxury catamaran from Ko Olina. Guests will enjoy narrated history of the area and snorkel with turtles and reef fish and possibly see dolphins and whales Dec-April. We offer this combo twice a week. Wednesday hike first and snorkel after, or on Sunday-snorkel first then enjoy the sunset hike with incredible views of the setting sun from this mountain top perch. BYOB is allowed for sunset hike, but no glass please. Boxed wine or cans is allowed. Return to hotels by van.
