We do not have shows if Kalākaua Ave. is closed for parades or block parties. \nLocated on the ocean side of Kalākaua Avenue near the Duke Kahanamoku Statue\, diagonally across from the Hyatt Regency hotel. \nFree\, outdoors\, casual\, seating on the grass; beach chairs\, mats\, etc. okay. For information\, call 808-843-8002. \nKuhio Beach Hula Show history and origin: \nThe Kuhio Beach Hula Show began in February 1994 as “Mōlehu I Waikīkī (Twilight in Waikiki).” The program was designed to showcase authentic Hawaiian hula and music by local hālau and musicians. Unlike Polynesian revues\, content is 100% Hawaiian. \nIn 2000\, in its commitment to bring a “Hawaiian Sense of Place” back to Waikīkī  the City adopted the cultural template of noted Hawaiian cultural practitioner and historian Dr. George Kanahele to construct an authentic pā hula or hula mound\, which was dedicated to hula in a traditional blessing ceremony conducted by Kumu John Lake. This resulted in a permanent pā hula at Kuhio Beach\, designed specifically for this Hawaiian hula program.

This new theatrical horror experience returns to the Hawaii Theatre Center\, blending live performance\, cinematic visuals\, and psychological tension to pull you into a world suspended between life and illusion. \nThe Hypnotist returns — but this time\, the stage is his experiment. \nYou’ll witness secrets once buried\, minds once broken\, and a performance that may never end. \nOct 28\, 29\, 30 – three nights only.\nIt’s not just a show…\nIt’s how it all began. \n  \nFor three nights only\, this event will be held at the prestigious Hawaii Theatre. The duration of the experience is approximately 20 minutes. \nCurious individuals 18 years of age or older are welcome to attend (positively no one under the age of 18 allowed under any circumstance!). Upon arrival\, a valid ID card must be shown and a waiver must be signed to be admitted. \nTickets include access to the Ghost Bar and lounge\, located on the theatre’s 2nd level. \nGuests must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled showtime.
